Maid of Honor
Erica has been talking about Mike since he was quite literally the boy next door. What started out as a new friendship, soon turned into an innocent crush. Now that college crush has turned into lifelong partners in crime. From first hearing of him, I was naturally skeptical. I didn’t think any old college boy would be good enough for my sister, but Mike has proven me wrong. I’ve always dreamed of having a brother, but I never imagined he would be as great as Mike is. He’s been a great addition to our family already. There’s so much love between these two. You can tell that they were made to conquer life together. Erica and Mike, I’m honored to be a part of your special day and am so excited to see you both grow as a married couple. Here’s to a lifetime of singing American Pie by the fire!
Best Man
Having met Mike the first day of freshman year at Westfield State, I’ve had the privilege of calling him one of my closest friends for nearly a decade and I couldn’t be happier he’s marrying his perfect match in Erica. It should be no surprise to anyone that Mike’s room was the place to be that year. His magnetic personality and easygoing charm makes him someone that everyone gravitates towards and definitely one of the only guys who can make living in a college triple something to be missed! He’s someone you can talk to about anything and can always count on to be there when you need him most. I’m so happy to have seen Mike and Erica’s incredible relationship grow over the years and it’s an honor to stand with them on their special day. Congratulations!
Maid of Honor
I could not be happier for Erica and Mike. I’m naturally protective of my sisters, but the longer I’ve come to know Mike, I’ve only grown more and more confident that he’s the perfect match for Erica. I’m honored to gain him as a brother, and to have Kate as a sister, too! This wedding has been a long time coming, and I can’t wait to be a part of their special day. Cheers to the next chapter of Erica and Mike’s beautiful life together!
Best Man
Mike and I met the first day of freshman year at Westfield State, and all thoughts of not making friends and potentially even transferring were quickly dismissed. It did not take long for Mike to go from one of my neighbors to one of my best friends. After that year, we endured (and you may say thrived in) two forced triples, and spent countless hours talking baseball, TV, and really anything else. Mike is one of very few people that I can truly talk to about anything, and that does not come lightly. He’s a one-in-a-million guy (with a one-in-a-million voice), and you can be sure he’ll always show up. I’m so incredibly happy that he and Erica found each other. It’s been amazing to see you two come together and grow, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you both. Love you guys!

I have been Mike’s sister forever but it feels like I have had Erica for a sister just as long! To make it simple, I’ll quote Tia and Tamera and say I’m their “sister sister”. Whether we are re-creating Kaboom commercials, playing card games, laughing by a fire, or even having an entire eclipse day drink (don’t ask), the three of us always have so much fun together, and I have so many memories that I cherish with both Mike and Erica. In all seriousness, Mike and Erica are more than just siblings to me, they are my friends and I couldn’t be happier for them both and to be a part of their special day!
Groomsman
I first met Mike and Erica my freshman year of college. I lived in the same building as the both of them and had the pleasure of being a roommate of Mike’s for the next three years. Mike and I hit it off quickly when we realized we both had a high affinity for sports (particularly baseball and football). Some of my best college memories were commentating our college’s baseball games throughout our four years in school. Mike and Erica are two of my favorite people in the world, and I am so excited and honored to be standing with them on their wedding day.

Erica and I became friends in middle school but our friendship really grew as we reached high school, taking Spanish and AP history together. Our friendship really made high school completely bearable and even enjoyable! Our days consisted of reading books out loud, running or just talking on the rail trail, visiting Fenway, starting to write a book, having fun with our families, and so many more amazing things! It’s hard to be so far away from your best friend who completely understands you, but after all this time, our friendship means as much to me as it ever has. Mike is extremely lucky to have Erica by his side and I know Erica is just as lucky as well. Congratulations to two great friends! I really wish you the best and a life full of learning and loving everything about each other.
Groomsman
I had the good fortune to be paired with a kid from Danvers named Mike Drew for our freshman year at Westfield. Thanks in large part to that made-for-TV voice (and an old Nintendo 64), room C305 in Lammers hall became somewhat of a meeting place for the students on our floor, including a certain female double in the room on the other side of the wall. Fast forward a number of years, and I’ve been lucky enough to see Mike and Erica’s relationship blossom from neighbors to friends, to great friends, to a young couple, and now an incredible partnership that I’m confident will stand the test of time and give others the confidence to get to know the girl next door. You never know, you may end up marrying her. Love and congratulations to the both of you guys!

I met Erica during our freshman honors orientation at Westfield State, where Erica proved to be a silent, but hilarious, card shark because even though she didn’t say a word, she won Apples to Apples. From there, we became close through mutual friends, then closer through boyfriends, then even closer through fiancé’s. Currently, Erica and I regularly get together for walks, various tastings, and through double dates with my husband (Best Man, Connor) and Mike. Erica and Mike are individually terrific and I am so grateful to be part of the day that solidifies their union that is 9 years in the making!

I find it hard to believe I’ve known Erica and Mike for nearly an entire decade. And now, my neighbors during freshman year of college are getting married. I have the distinct honor of being the first Westfield State Owl to meet Mike Drew. Who would've guessed the guy with the golden voice I met at college orientation would eventually become a roommate, an audience for my awful jokes, and — most importantly — a very close friend. That being said, it is an even greater honor to be a part of Mike and Erica’s special day, and I am truly humbled to have them in my life.
