Well, it truly is a tale as old as time... we met on a dating app at the end of 2020. Needless to say, we both were not expecting much out of it, which inevitably made what we found all the more special. Very little time was spent interacting on the app before we exchanged phone numbers and set a date to meet at Lantern Bay Park. That evening was the start of a beautiful connection that has evolved into becoming each other's soulmates. Since finding each other we have introduced our families and shared special moments like the holidays, educational achievements, and travel adventures. Michael planned the proposal to happen at Presidio Park. A place with special meaning for us, because one of our very first dates was spent exploring San Diego where we had a picnic, shared stories and memories from our childhood, and talked about what we hoped the future would hold. On the day of our proposal, Michael planned a similar picnic, a beautiful charcuterie board for us to share and all! This picnic came with an added surprise, soon after we arrived Michael requested I stand up only for him to get down on one knee, pulling out the most beautiful engagement ring and proceeding to say some beautiful words that I could barely hear behind my heartbeat in my ears and tears in my eyes. A secret photographer was also involved who took photos of our proposal followed by a photo session at the Mission San Diego de Alcala. An unforgettable day that we look forward to telling our future children about. We are so excited to share our wedding day with all of our family and friends in such a stunning place like Puerto Vallarta. We hope everyone will be able to join us in celebrating our union.
