The friendship of Peter and Erica began in 2002 when they became housemates in the college town of Isla Vista in Santa Barbara, California. As Peter attended UCSB and Erica embarked on her college journey, their paths intertwined, and a friendship blossomed. Peter, or Pete as most people call him, is more than just a great friend; he's a rock of support and logic. He's the kind of person you can always count on, whether you need a listening ear or an adventure partner. A die-hard fan of the Giants, Warriors, and 49ers, Pete's loyalty extends beyond sports into his friendships. Today, Pete and his wife Karen have created a beautiful family together in Mountain View, California. Their home is filled their two kiddos, Luke & James, and the their dog Barley, who might just be the best dog in the whole world. As a co-officiant, Pete stands by Erica & Michael's side, not just to celebrate this special day but to continue the friendship they started back in Isla Vista, making every moment along the way as fun and memorable as possible.

Jake and Pete's friendship goes back to pre-school, a bond that has only grown stronger with time. Over the years, it was only natural for Jake to become a close friend of Erica's as well. Jake's loyalty runs deep, not only in his lifelong support for the 49ers, Giants, and Warriors but also in the unwavering friendship he offers. He's not just the best-dressed guy in the room; he's the one who brings the style to every event. Currently living in Seattle, Washington, Jake is running his psychiatry practice, where he offers support to many. He's a loving husband to Jennifer and a proud dad to two energetic and creative girls, Layla & Emery. As a co-officiant, Jake stands by Erica & Michael's side, a testament to the friendship they share and the many memories they've created together throughout the years.
Karen Noryko
Co- Matron of Honor
Karen and Erica's friendship is a testament to the beauty of Santa Barbara connections. Their story began through co-workers and roommates during those unforgettable college years. Together, they embraced all the adventures and joys that college life had to offer. Karen's path eventually crossed with Pete's, and the rest is history. Though Karen later moved to San Diego and then Santa Cruz, the bond between her and Erica remained unbreakable. They made it a priority to visit and vacation together, including the cherished tradition of spending the 4th of July at her family's cabin every year. Today, Karen lives in Mountain View, California, with her husband Peter, their two wonderful boys, James & Lucas, and the ever-adorable Barley, who 100% holds the title of the best dog in the whole entire world. And here's a fun fact: While Erica may playfully take the credit for Karen meeting Pete, we all know that destiny (and the power of Isla Vista) had a hand in it as well. As a co-Matron of Honor, Karen stands by Erica's side, not just as a dear friend but as a reminder of the beautiful friendship they've created together.

Jennifer and Erica's friendship had a unique start – it was through their connection to Jake while he was dating Jennifer during their time at Whitman College in Washington State. Although it's uncertain exactly when Jennifer and Erica first met, their bond formed quickly despite the distance between them. They discovered common love for things like The Twilight Saga, Dave Matthews Band, ringing in New Year’s Eve, and houseboating trips. Their friendship became a solid foundation for Erica as she realized she could always count on Jennifer, no matter what life threw her way. Today, Jennifer lives in Seattle, Washington where she owns and operates her Family Photography business. Along with her husband Jake, she shares two energetic daughters, Layla and Emery. As a fun fact, Erica proudly holds the title of Layla's godmother, a role she shares with Karen, creating a special bond that goes beyond friendship. Jennifer stands as a co-Matron of Honor, a testament to the connection between her and Erica, and a cherished friend who has been there through so many phases of adult life.

Taylor and Michael have known each other for quite some time. Their relationship started off with a rough split right at the beginning. Turns out the egg was too small for two. However, after about nine months they reconciled and decided to come into this world together. Since then, Michael and Taylor have always been in cahoots with one another. Taylor lives in Phoenix, AZ with his wonderful wife (as of 11/11/23) Michelle and two little furry children Rocky and Bruno.

The story of Kim and Erica's friendship began in 2006 at the Fremont P.F. Chang’s, where they were not just co-workers but destined friends. Their bond truly solidified when they decided to go to the event of the year - attending the Justin Timberlake concert in San Jose (a concert that was amazing!). From co-workers, Kim and Erica became roommates, sharing their lives in Fremont for a few years. It was during this time that their friendship deepened, and they created memories that would last a lifetime. Kim, being an avid FaceTimer, wins the award for staying better at keeping in touch, bridging the distance that separates them. Erica often wishes they lived closer, a testament to the special connection they share. Today, Kim has created her own beautiful family in Livermore, California, alongside her sports-loving (Dodgers, ugh.) husband Nick and their two energetic boys, Andy & Brody. As a bridesmaid, Kim represents not only a cherished friend but a reminder of the incredible journey they've shared from co-workers to roommates and beyond.

When people told Erica that meeting Marianne would be a make-or-break experience, she was understandably nervous. They first met on a work trip in Toronto, and from that moment, their friendship was undeniable. Marianne and Erica soon discovered that they were two peas in a pod, sharing an uncanny resemblance in their interests and outlook on life. ("Things work out for guys like us.") Their adventures have taken them across the globe, and they make a point to check in with each other regularly, bridging the distance between Arizona and Indiana. Marianne is the embodiment of fun and spontaneity, as proven by her willingness to join Erica in watching the 49ers play in the NFC Championship Game at a sports bar in the Philippines at 3:30 am (a game they, fortunately, won!). As a bridesmaid, Marianne is a symbol of the extraordinary connection that was formed in Toronto and has since become an integral part of Erica's life journey.

Michelle and Erica's story began at the P.F. Chang’s orientation in San Diego, where they found themselves navigating a new chapter far from their hometowns. Together, they quickly realized that they "weren’t in Kansas anymore," bonding over the whirlwind of their new work lives. While Erica's heart remained in Ocean Beach, they created a Sunday tradition that brought them even closer - spending football Sundays together. Their friendship was full of shared laughter, Pumpkin Sake, and a deep appreciation for all things San Diego. Today, Michelle lives in the sunny city of San Diego with her husband Ethan and their perfect dog Charlie. As a bridesmaid, Michelle represents not just a dear friend but a reminder of the shared adventures and laughter that Erica and she have experienced together since their days at P.F. Chang’s.

Victoria's journey with Erica began when she made the move to P.F. Chang’s in San Diego. Little did she know that her fate was intertwined with Michelle and Erica, who quickly welcomed her into their circle of friendship. In a twist of fate, while Victoria was becoming fast friends with Michelle and Erica, Michelle's husband was building a close friendship with Victoria's boyfriend, Drew, who is now her husband. Victoria's personality shines with her incredible wit, unwavering loyalty, and her status as the most fashionable girlie in town. Her presence adds a special kind of sparkle to any gathering. Today, Victoria lives in Las Vegas with her husband Drew and their two precious boys, Thiago and Zayne. One of their cherished memories together is spending Christmas in 2013 in San Diego, alongside Michelle and Ethan, creating a holiday memory no one will forget. As a bridesmaid, Victoria symbolizes not just a dear friend but a testament to the unique and beautiful connections that fate can bring into our lives.

Alyssa's introduction to Erica and their group of friends happened on a visit to San Diego, where she didn't just meet Erica but a whole circle of friends at the same time. From that very day, it was clear that she was a perfect fit, seamlessly becoming one of the most loyal and cherished friends anyone could ask for. Erica and Alyssa share a deep bond, especially when it comes to their love for Dave Matthews Band and all things fun. Alyssa's dedication is evident in the miles she travels, despite currently living in Austin, Texas, to be a part of the special moments in Erica's life. In 2022, they embarked on a memorable journey together, visiting the Gorge for the three-day annual Dave Matthews Band weekend. This adventure was shared with Karen, Sarah, and Jennifer, adding another layer to their treasured memories. As a bridesmaid, Alyssa stands not just as a friend but as a symbol of the incredible connections that have been formed, regardless of distances and creating moments of joy and memories that will last a lifetime.

Drew and Michael have known each other since 8th grade but really became friends around sophomore year of high school. Drew bonded with Michael on the football field and eventually Drew even convinced Michael to go out and participate in Track and Field. Ever since then Drew and Michael have been incredible friends. Drew even had Michael up to Boston to celebrate thanksgiving, putting him to work stirring a cauldron of mashed potatoes and playing all sorts of board games in a tryptophan state. Drew lives in Colorado Springs, CO with his amazing wife Nao and their two little rascals, one most likely being extraterrestrial, Atlas and Rouge.

Michael and Michael have known each other since first grade. Growing up just one block away from one another they bonded over swim parties, playing football in the front yard during the summer, (no tackling on the cement!!) and the plethora of organized sports and school activities they participated in together. Michael even convinced Michael to move out East and get a taste for living in Washington DC. Needless to say, Michael and Michael have had an incredible 30+ year run so far. Michael now lives in Scottsdale, AZ with his incredible wife Jessica and their two amazing children, Michael and Carolyn.

Meet Emery, the adorable and silly little one with a heartwarming smile that can brighten anyone's day. She's a bundle of joy who finds her greatest happiness in doing anything her big sister Layla is up to. Emery's home is in the beautiful city of Seattle, Washington, where she lives with her loving parents, Jennifer and Jake, her cherished big sister Layla, and their furry friend, Izzy the cat. As a flower girl, Emery is sure to add an extra sprinkle of cuteness and laughter to this special day, as she follows in the footsteps of her big sister and brings her own unique brand of charm to the celebration.

Erica has been waiting since Layla was born to have her as a flower girl in her wedding, especially since she is Erica's cherished goddaughter. Layla's artistic talents are as boundless as her creativity. With a book in one hand and markers and blank paper in the other, she can transform any moment into a masterpiece. She calls Seattle, Washington, her home with her little sister Emery, her loving parents Jennifer and Jake, and their feline friend, Izzy. Layla's artistic flair and loving spirit brighten up every part of our lives, and we couldn't be more thrilled to have her as our flower girl on this special day.

Introducing Luke, the ultimate life of the kid party and our ring bearer extraordinaire! Luke's enthusiasm knows no bounds, and he's always up for an adventure, especially if it's something his big brother James is doing. This little dynamo calls Mountain View, California, home, where he lives with his awesome parents, Karen and Pete, his big brother James and their trusty sidekick, Barley the dog. Luke's boundless energy and infectious laughter bring joy to everyone he meets.

Meet James, the very first kiddo born into our tight-knit group of friends and the sweetest, most caring young gentleman you'll ever meet. James is truly a gem, and his considerate nature is matched only by his boundless curiosity. He lives in Mountain View, California, with his little brother Luke, along with their wonderful parents, Karen and Pete, and their loyal furry companion, Barley. James's warmth and kindness have touched all of our lives, and we're so excited to have him as a ringbearer at our wedding!
