How We Met

First comes school, then comes marriage...

Karter and Erica first met in 6th-grade. They had the same homeroom, and would soon be assigned to sit beside each other for the year. Just two young kids trying to figure out their new lives in middle school. Karter had a crush from first sight, while Erica was still more focused on school and sports rather than boys. They went through the years and come high school they were still not together, but very close friends. Fast forward to Junior year and Erica finally realized what had been under her nose the entire time. Ever since 09/05/2016, they have been inseparable. Through ups and downs, wrong and rights, their easy-going love has remained untethered for each other. They cannot wait to celebrate their love for each other with their family and friends come May!

The Proposal

11/14/2019

After dating for over three years, Karter finally worked up the nerve to ask Erica's father for her hand in marriage. Once having Mr. and Mrs.Lamb's approval, he figured out his plans on how to do it. He chose the day of the 14th because this has been their shared basketball number since sixth grade. On this day, getting her sister-in-law with her camera and her dog in the truck, he drove Erica up Viking mountain in the snow under the pretense of taking some pictures. Once on the mountain, they turned back to back, and Katie gave them chalkboards and said to write what they liked most about each other. Erica wrote that she loved so many things about Karter, but especially his smile. While karter wrote his question, "Will you marry me?". Once she turned around, you could not hide the joy on her face.
