Our story begins at our favorite local bar, Connolly’s, where laughter and late-night talks were just part of the routine. One night in early 2021, at a desert bonfire with friends and live music all around, we were having so much fun that we realized we wanted to see where this could go. A few months later, on a hot Arizona summer day at Justin’s pool, the first “I love you” slipped out. Life was busy with Justin’s work schedule and Erica balancing life with Rory and Webb, but we made it work, stealing even just an hour together whenever we could. From the start, it was clear we had something special. Everything in our relationship has always been intentional, a slow build into becoming a family, best friends, and each other’s favorite person. Justin has built a special relationship with Rory and Webb, becoming a steady, sweet, and loving part of their lives. Over the last five years, from ordinary days to traveling to new countries and states, we’ve had endless adventures, laughed, fallen more in love, and become a family. We’ve cruised the Caribbean, explored Italy, visited both our hometowns, cheered on each other’s baseball and football teams, watched Rory save countless goals, watched Webb win a baseball championship, and made plenty of pit stops at dive bars along the way. We share an easy connection, talk about everything, and make a point to connect every single day. We make each other better and truly love doing life together.
