We're getting hitched!

We had worked at the same company for years, but were nothing more than coworkers. One day, I was talking to a mutual friend of ours at the office about one of my favorite movies (Space Balls). She told me that, believe it or not, she actually had the same conversation with Jim earlier that day. She took it as a sign that we needed to hangout. After a few weeks of talking, Jim went out of his way to find a Space Balls themed beer for me, so of course we watched the movie on one of our first dates and the rest is history. WE ARE FOREVER GRATEFUL, NATALIE<3 <3 <3

We went away to one of our favorite places, Burlington VT. Once we got to our hotel we had a quick bite at the hotel restaurant . When we were done Jim went to go move his truck, but he quickly realized that it had been towed due to an illegal parking job that he was unaware of because snow had covered the marked area. Jim came back inside and informed me of the situation in one of the calmest demeaners I had ever experienced in the entirety of our relationship, which I do remember finding a little odd since he LOVES his truck. Little did I know that within his truck was something of even more importance and his only priority was to get his truck back as soon as possible. He got the truck back and we enjoyed the rest of our first day there. So day two hits, and we are out and about enjoying the city. We had made a dinner reservation at our favorite restaurant "Hen of the Wood" for that evening and we were very excited for it. Fast forward to us at the restaurant enjoying cocktails and our first course, when all of the sudden Jim starts complaining about his stomach hurting so he excused himself to the bathroom while I waited for our dinner to arrive. After a while had passed and no sign of Jim anywhere, I just kept ordering cocktails to pass the time :D. He finally shows up after we had received our dinner, and we were able to enjoy the rest of the meal. We headed back to the hotel room after because it was right next to the restaurant. We arrived at our room and I turned around to say something to him and he had the biggest grin on his face. I asked him what was wrong, and he immediately dropped down to one knee removing a box from his pocket. He looked at me, told me he loved me.. that I was his dream girl, and then asked me to marry him. He then told me that there was no stomach ache, but instead he had ran back to the hotel to have the bartender set up the champagne in our room. The grin was because I didn't even notice it when we had arrived (LOL)
