Stand-up paddle boards can be rented for $20 an hour. Beginners to advanced are welcome! No reservation needed! Make sure to wear comfortable workout clothing or a swimsuit.
Inspiration Point
Check out a beautiful beach with amazing views of the ocean and homes along the coast! Parking is free along the streets (for those of you with rentals). Don't forget your sunscreen!
Heisler Park
Check out some beautiful beach scenery with some easy hiking trails along the coast!
Newport Landing Whale Watching
Take an early morning trip out on a boat with a loved one or friends for an unforgettable experience. Reservations are required - make sure to purchase your tickets in advance. Trips usually last about 45 minutes to an hour.
IRWD San Joaquin Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary
Take some time to enjoy nature and wildlife! There are easy hiking trails along the marsh and tons of opportunities for photos!
Pacific Marine Mammal Center
This non-profit organization helps to rehabilitate injured sea mammals. You get to see these animals up close and learn about their conditions that brought them to this location. You might even get to experience a release of the healthy animals out in Laguna Beach. Admission is free!
Balboa Island
Walk on over to Balboa Island from the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach (about 3 blocks). This island resembles a small town, and has local shops you won't find anywhere else. Take the ferry for $1 each way to Newport Beach and enjoy sometime in the sand and sun!
Fashion Island
Enjoy a historical site that's now been turned into one of Orange County's best shopping centers! There are great food options, local shops, and drinks on tap!
