So this is love

If our love story was a book we wouldn’t meet on the first page. It would be a classic slow burn friends to lovers tale that frustrates the readers all the way till the final chapters. My love and I had been friends going on 10 years when we decided to add a second book to the series, that our relationship has turned into with the intention of seeing if we could be each other's happily ever after. Before that day I was poorly dropping hints of my desire to be in a romantic relationship and my love had plainly told me on three separate occasions that he liked me and things just weren't clicking. It was truly the most tragic missed high five. But like all great things it all worked out in god's timing and now a new tale is about to unfold.
