Bridesmaid
Like apples are to oranges… She’s rugged, outdoorsy and her favorite color is brown. Pairs well with camo and plaids. The bride is glamour, spa days and the ocean and her favorite color is pink. Pairs well with Gucci and bows. They are polar opposites but their friendship is as loyal and strong as their willingness to experience and love what is fun and important to the other. Terra and Erica met in 2013 and have been friends ever since. Though many miles have separated them through the years, they’ve always committed to finding time to make time for the other. Terra is the type of friend that would drop everything if she ever got that type of a phone call. Her only short fall? Never knowing correct dates. So cheers that she has this one in her calendar correctly because Erica couldn’t imagine this day without her right by her side!
Bridesmaid
Always punctual. Always organized. The most giving and selfless friend that a woman could have at her table. She’s the type of gal that would never ask questions if you needed her, she’d just ask where and when. And her kindness and reassurance through life’s big decisions naturally bring calmness. Brandi and Erica met as young women just starting out and finding their way in State College, PA. Having a group of many mutual friends, many Penn State events (ok, parties) and football games would shape their friendship. The two would come to be roommates at Erica’s house, when just as Brandi unloaded her last box, Erica says, “I think I’m moving to Florida.” And so they laughed and Brandi helped Erica pack up and supported the new adventure every step of the way. And even so- many memories and countless visits to Florida have continued to add color to the picture they continue to paint. Supportive, helpful and kind, Brandi will be the piece to Erica’s big day that makes sure everything is done just right! She already knows if (and only if) the stress of wedding planning comes to the surface, Brandi will be the one to keep everyone level headed!
Groomsman
You’d describe him as fun. A true zest for life. The type of friend that you anticipate visits from because they will always be filled with memories, laughs and stories. And maybe a hangover. You can call him Johnny, otherwise known as Johnny 4 Booze! Johnny and Christian met during their years in Cortland, NY. Johnny owned and still owns the only liquor store in town so it’s no surprise he and Christian have remained friends ever since. Erica and Christian look forward to Johnny’s visits to FL every year: new sights, new bars, new eats! It’s a vacation in their own backyard when he comes to town. Always a memory. Always something new to experience. Johnny has become the type of friend to both Christian and Erica that can always provide endless laughs and good chatter over an even better meal. 2026 will be the best vacation and visit yet as Johnny stands beside Christian and toasts to his new adventure! If anyone is looking for a nightcap, you’ll find it with these two!
Groomsman
He may get to the wedding by plane. He may get to the wedding by train. Or maybe by automobile. He’s known as Uncle Clark. So many adventures he has had with both Christian and Erica and with each one, there’s a story to tell! If you’re with Gene, what could possibly go wrong? Gene and Erica’s Dad both went to Penn State and are brothers of Phi Kappa Theta. In a very small world, Gene got reconnected with Erica’s family in 2017 when everyone from Florida evacuated north for Hurricane Irma, and there just so happened to be a football game that weekend. PSU was playing Pitt. Having mutual lifelong friends that made the reconnection at a tailgate, it wasn’t long until two and two were put together that Gene lived in Stuart, FL not far from Erica and Christian. And so there you have it: Penn State trips, concerts, fishing trips, lunch or just a beer. Christian and Gene became not only friends but family. Gene has helped to guide their relationship with advice, wisdom and love. His support is unwavering and Erica and Christian feel honored that he has agreed to be a part of such a special moment in their lives.
