Erica and Brian’s journey began on April 24, 2016, when they were introduced through family while in college. From the very first moment, it was love at first sight—they connected instantly and have been inseparable ever since. Not long after, Erica moved to Oregon to play basketball, and their relationship became long distance. But even hundreds of miles apart, their bond never wavered. They FaceTimed every single day, sometimes multiple times, keeping each other close through every call, laugh, and late-night conversation. In September 2016, Erica flew back to California to surprise him for his birthday. That’s when he realized just how serious she was about them, and by October 8, he officially asked her to be his girlfriend. From then on, their love only grew stronger. After almost a year of long distance, Erica moved back to California in August 2017, and from that point forward, the two were side by side, building a life together filled with love, growth, and resilience. Like every couple, they’ve faced challenges, but they’ve always overcome them together—stronger than before. And now, after 10 amazing years, they are finally saying “I do” and couldn’t be happier to begin the next chapter as husband and wife.
