Maid of Honor
Erica and Allie met at sleepaway camp when they were 10 years old and have been best friends ever since. From keeping in touch via hand written letters in middle school and late night long distance phone calls in high school to sharing a freshman dorm at University of Michigan and living together for many years in NYC, this more than 30 year friendship is one-of-a-kind. After having the privilege of serving as the maid of honor at Allie's wedding, Erica is so excited to have Allie by her side doing the same.
Best Man
Brian met Jeff when Jeff was born in Highland Park Hospital, making Brian an older brother. Since then, the two Glickman brothers attended North Star Camp and University of Illinois together. Jeff is not a Bears fan (smart move) and is instead a diehard Titans fan (maybe not so smart actually). Brian wore all of Jeff's Titans gear and an inflatable helmet during his best man speech at Jeff's wedding in 2014 and is mildly worried about what Jeff will do to return the favor. But there's nobody Brian would rather have as best man by his side.
Bridesmaid
Haley is married to Brian's brother, Jeff, and Erica is now lucky enough to call her family. They met back in 2010 when Erica was first introduced to the Glickman clan and Haley has been warm and welcoming ever since.
Groomsman
Marc is Erica's brother and Brian is excited to officially call him family. Brian and Marc have bonded over their love of sports, even though they rarely root for the same team. Brian is honored Marc will stand by his side on his wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Erica and Gillian met freshman year at the University of Michigan. Since those amazing four years in Ann Arbor, they've spent numerous nights together in NYC bonding over their love of live music, good food and deep conversation. During one of their first dinners together in college Gillian had yet to learn Erica's last name and famously asked, "What's a Nadboy?!" The rest is history.
Groomsman
Brian and Heller met at the University of Illinois when Brian was rushing the AEPI fraternity. They immediately bonded over their love of Chicago Cubs and Illinois basketball. A voracious gambler, Heller joins Brian in Las Vegas every year for Brian's dad's annual March Madness Sweet Sixteen trip. Brian is excited to have Heller by his side as he places his best bet to date.
Bridesmaid
Erica and Jess also met freshman year at the University of Michigan. Over the past 20 years they have shared a love of Michigan football, summer camp, homemade baked goods and weekends at Jess's family home in Westhampton Beach. Jess is a fiercely loyal friend who Erica is lucky to have by her side.
Groomsman
Brian and Craig met during freshman year at the University of Illinois. After a dinner at Za's, they agreed to live together in the AEPI house. Their relationship deepened over the Cubs and Fighting Illini. While the greatest gift Craig ever received was an Illinois shelf sitter from a college girlfriend, the greatest gift Brian could ever receive from Craig is having him as a groomsman in the wedding.
Bridesmaid
Erica and Jenna also met freshman year at the University of Michigan and have since taken their friendship across the globe. Lucky for Erica, Jenna always has the best recommendations of where go and stay. They have traveled to Paris, Seville, Mallorca, San Miguel, Aspen, Sante Fe, Maine and most importantly, to the Michigan National Championship game last year.
Groomsman
Brian and Jordan met at Deerfield High School, working on the weekly W-DHS sports recap show. When editing in songs for the show's closing credits, they discovered their mutual love for the Dave Matthews Band. They attended their first show in 2002 and have been to over 50 DMB shows together across the US from Madison Square Garden to Alpine to Deer Creek to the Gorge. Brian is honored to have his original "concert buddy" in his wedding party as he marries his forever concert buddy.
Bridesmaid
Erica and Steph met in NYC through mutual friends sometime around 2011, but their friendship was solidified during a two week trip to Australia in 2015. Since then they've explored many other amazing places together including a South African safari, wineries in Napa, beaches in Belize, relaxing weeks in upstate New York, taco tastings in Mexico and most recently, a celebratory vacation in honor of Steph's birthday in Costa Brava, Spain.
Groomsman
If there's three things you should know about Steven (aka "Hots"), it's that Hots met Brian at the University of Illinois, they studied abroad together in London, and Hots likes his Waffle House hash browns smothered, covered, and peppered. Hots and Brian traveled around Europe in 2006 on a three week Eurotrip with stories that they still reminisce about to this day. Brian roasted Hots pretty good at his wedding and even made a video for his bachelor party, so he's also mildly worried about what Hots has up his sleeve for Brian's wedding speech.
Officiant
Brian and Andy met in pre-school and attended the same school through 12th grade. In the middle of that stretch, in 1997, Andy went North Star Camp for the first time where he was cabinmates with Brian. They continued to spend many summers together including their Pine Manor summer in 2000 and Jack Weiner's final CIT class in 2001. Later, Andy purchased North Star in 2011 and when Brian was laid off at the beginning of COVID-19, the first call he made was to Andy to see if he could come back to camp and help out that summer. He said yes and Brian has now worked full time with Andy at North Star since 2020. Andy first met Erica back in 2010 and saw how happy she made Brian. He hoped one day that they'd get married. He just didn't think it would take 16 years. This past summer, Erica and Brian surprised Andy by asking him to be their wedding officiant during the camp play. It was a perfect choice -- someone who knows both Erica and Brian so well. They're just worried that they gave him too much time to come up with some roasts.
