Natalie is the best big sis a girl could ask for! She taught me everything I know, she showed me how to grow up! I learned how to cook, flirt with boys, do my hair/makeup, & how to become my own person from watching her. But I’ve always wanted to be just like her. I permed my long, straight blonde hair to be curly like hers, I got roller blades & followed close behind her on all the trails to be like her and I begged for a Camaro when I turned 16 because she had a forest green Camaro (that we used to cruise around in jamming to Christian cassette tapes :). But mostly, I have always wanted to be just like Natalie because she is the most incredibly kind and grace-filled person I know. She is so infinitely special and I’m honored to have a piece of her in me and her as my Matron of Honor!

I first met Veronika fresh off the plane from Bosnia when we both signed up for the residency program at our church, Upper Room. We had no idea then that we would become such soul sisters and learn so much from each other. I've never known a person so committed to fighting for the people she loves and their God given identity. She is thunder wrapped in a small powerful package! V and I used to have daily morning calls to spur each other on in life and faith and her friendship + love have marked me. She is my go-to when I’m wrestling with life and need a confidant. She is a woman of BOLD faith with a heart of WILD worship! I'm so delighted to have her by my side now and always! Lord knows I need her!

Downtown Tee Brown! Where do I start? Friends since my very first day in my oil and gas career at CHK when she stared me down across the conference room table and scared me half to death, lol! Little did we know that God had far more purpose on that fateful day than we could ever fathom because we would become sisters and weather some of life's greatest storms together. We've also had MANY a shenanigan together and have too many stories to count! She is the fiercest lover of people that I know and much of the person I have become is due to her friendship, love and wisdom! I only hope to express how much she means to me. She's irreplaceable. I could not imagine walking down the aisle without Tee there, things would be incomplete. I'm blessed to have Tee as a forever sister.

Megs and I struck up an immediate best friendship when we lived side by side in Dobie dorm freshman year at Texas. We loved each other so much that we decided to form a group of all our best friends and NEVER LET GO! The beginning of THE BESTIES! This friendship has carried us through so many phases of life and ahhh we've had so many good times together… dancing the night away, slumber partying, heart to heart convos, traveling to every cool city Meg has lived in post college. She is brilliant, an ophthalmologist and surgeon with a heart of gold! And she’ll always be MY Penelope Cruz (P-Cruz). I couldn't be more elated to have her by my side during this season and always.

My LoCo (formerly LoFo) has been changing my life since that famous day in 2004 on philanthropy day during rush when we chatted about Bible study and I knew I had to Be A DG and her little sis. Best decision I ever made and my life has been fuller because of it. We are basically the same person and could be voice twins :) We have definitely been through some shenanigans together but Lo has been the catalyst for so many milestones in my life and has been there since the very beginning of E&B, cheering us on and droppin' love and wisdom along the way. She is changing the world through education and I love cheering HER on and admiring the powerhouse woman that she is! LoCo, you’re one the greats and I’m the lucky one to have you helping me plan and execute this awesome day in January!

Jordan or Jordie, as we dubbed her circa 1993, is not only my amazing cousin-sister, she is an even better best friend. We’ve shared plenty of laughs and tears along of the path of growing up together and should especially receive gold stars for turning out “normal” despite the best efforts of our crazy family :) She has a smile + laugh that will turn your worst day into pure sunshine. I admire her faith that has moved mountains and her love that has healed hearts. Jordan is a woman of character, integrity and wisdom beyond her years and I couldn’t be more proud of the person she is! So excited to have this dime of mine by my side!

Amber is one of the OG lofties of the Deep Ellum lofts, lofts that I lovingly refer to as the adult dorm. Although Bart knew her first, I quickly claimed her as mine after I had spent less than 2 mins with this incredible boss babe! We have bonded over many a dinner, trips, spa time, game nights and quarantine shenanigans. Amber is a force to be admired! She is intentional, kind, + most of all, hella empowering. I am continuously blown away by this amazing woman and I’m honored to have a friend and bridesmaid like her!

Back in 2006(ish) Brit and I use to take the same yoga class at Gregory Gym and had no idea at the time we would become such dear friends! She is one of the six BESTIES and an addition we couldn’t live without :) We’ve had a BLAST together through the years from dance parties, lake house parties, slumber parties, cooking parties, traveling parties, Jesus parties…basically ALOT of parties, lol, jk! She's also my forever Texas Football watching partner! We have memories that I will treasure for a lifetime and many more to come! Her love is BIG and she is a rockstar mom and business woman. Once upon a time, Hayley Duhon and I lived in San Antonio together and oh what a time it was! Despite a variety of crazy and hard life events during those years, I would largely describe my time in SA as any oasis of joy mainly due to this girl! She is light and joy wrapped in the most beautiful package. Hayley and I have laughed more together than I think most people do in a lifetime :) She is the most loyal person I know and the definition of a girls girl, hence why we were instant besties. She is a successful boss babe and I LOVE being her biggest fan girl because she deserves nothing short of the sun, moon and stars! I’m the lucky one to have her with me in life and at the alter.

When I met Anna I wanted to be her BBF immediately unbeknownst to her :) Luckily God had my back because he ever so slightly impressed on her to call me out of the blue to invite me on a trip to her family’s orphanage in Juarez, Mexico. Score! Dream. Come. True. So I jumped on the opportunity! Sharing a room on that trip only solidified my growing feelings that Anna was a lifer and she was never getting rid of me! We decided to be roommates and moved into a house in Oak Cliff 3 months later. Anna is extraordinary and forever my hero. Her love & life is heroic. She embodies FAITH in LOVE with ACTION like a boss, all while being one of the coolest humans alive! I’m a rich person to know her & be challenged & loved by her. It is with great joy that I get to have Anna with me in January.

J is always the most amazing hostess and my absolute most favorite person to play catch phase with! She is a beautiful example of love and friendship in my world and she has shown me how to walk thru life with open arms and an open heart. She is a marvelous mom and leader and I am continuously thankful for the magical light she brings wherever. My life is better and more complete because I know her and I’m overwhelmed to have her by my side in January and as a BESTIE for life!

It all started summer 2006 when LoHolla and I signed up to be camp counselors on lake crew at Camp Ozark in Mt. Ida, Arkansas. Nothing can bond two friends like a summer of sleeping on a dock, wearing the same one piece bathing suit for 3 months straight and showering in the lake daily after teaching kids to wakeboard all day :) Lori is one of those people that you fall for and never let go of! We stayed friends while living in different states until finally ending up in the same state AND city in 2012. Glory! Lori has seen me through my worst and we have prayed each other into a lot of the promises that we are each walking in today. She is a woman of great faith, she is insanely smart and hella fun to be around. I’m forever grateful to have Lori as a best friend and bridesmaid!

Roommate-less but moving into the sorority house, I took a chance and called to see if Ashleigh would want to live with in me in a sardine-can-sized room at the DG house despite barely knowing me! We became roommates a short time later and the rest is history! It was some of the best times of my life and there's no one I would have rather spent it with. Ash is the most life giving, inspiring, beautiful soul I have ever met. The way she embraces and makes space for life, challenges me to be the best version of myself. I treasure her authentic friendship more than she will ever know and it is my honor to have her in my wedding.

Jacqueline is Bart's sister from another Mr. & Mrs. She joined the family a number of years back as Bart's parents' spiritual daughter and so she naturally became a sister he never had! Her demeaner lights up a room and she always has a smile on her face and we couldn't be happier to have her be a part of our big day. She will also destroy you in a bike race :)

Noa's been an amazing friend to Bart since then and now is an amazing friend to Erica too as they get to talk all about natural medicine, healthy living and Jesus together, some of their favorite things. Blind when I got him, he now has fully restored sight and has fully settled into a life of love and lavish! He is an over-grown teddy bear and biggest baby I know but everyones favorite pup and I thank God everyday for this dog-child of mine. Barney is elated to have a forever dad in Bart and to walk with us down the aisle! How could I ever choose just one photo of this adorable pup?!?!
