Our proposal

In December 2019 on our last vacation before the pandemic, we had a not so serious but oh so serious wedding in La Paz, Mexico. Sometimes adults should act like kids and we all had fun make pretending that day. We knew it'd happen eventually... Then lock down hit and all the fun trips and proposals Austin had planned were quickly canceled. With the pandemic having no end in sight, and multiple prime proposal opportunities already missed (under the Eiffel Tower in Paris), Austin proposed in our Costa Mesa front yard with the help of our new puppy Tobyn aka Lil T, aka Tobias. It was perfect. It was us. After a year in quarantine together, there was no question that we were ready to start our lives as a newly engaged couple. We hit the road and traveled the West Coast as "digital nomads" waiting for the call to come back to work. We skied in Big Sky, hiked Yellowstone, wine tasted in Paso Robles, and went swimming in Laguna Beach and Cayucos. Our road trip was coming to an end, and a new chapter was forming in front of us as soon to be newlyweds moving to San Francisco for new careers. It was a reminder that whatever is happening in the world and wherever we live, as long as we're together we will have happiness and true love. We've been growing together for 13 years and we are thrilled to celebrate our relationship with friends and family who have supported us since we were a couple of teenagers who fell in love and never let each other go.
