FAQs

Question

Where should I travel into?

Answer

Fly into Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC)—it’s only about 35 miles away from Park City. From there, you can hop in a rental car or ride-share your way into the mountains. It’s just a quick 35-40 minute drive.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by June 15th, 2026.

Question

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

Answer

We encourage you to stay at our hotel block, Chateaux Deer Valley, because the transportation to/from the wedding will pick up from there. Other hotels nearby that are walking distance to Chateaux include Black Bear Lodge, Stein Eriksen Lodge, and Goldener Hirsch.

Question

How do I get to and from Main Street in Park City?

Answer

No need to worry —Park City makes getting around easy! Chateaux, Stein Eriksen, and Goldener Hirsch all offer complimentary shuttles to whisk you to and from Main Street and other nearby spots. Just check with the front desk for details! Park City has a fantastic free bus system that runs all around town (yes, free!). The buses are easy to spot, run frequently, and cover everything from Main Street to ski resorts and beyond. There is a stop right across the street from Chateaux. Download the MyStop mobile app for routes and schedules. Ubers and Lyfts are readily available and a convenient option to get where you need to go. Between shuttles, buses, and ride-shares, getting around Park City is extremely convenient.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

Please, no phones out during the ceremony—we want you to be fully present in the moment. We’ve hired an amazing team to capture it all, and we can’t wait to share those images with you!

Question

What is a baraat?

Answer

A baraat is an Indian wedding tradition where the groom arrives in a lively procession. Guests are encouraged to dance around the groom as he makes his way to the bride. No prep needed—just jump in and share in the fun!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation includes a plus one, then yes—please bring them along to celebrate with us!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our welcome party is a family-friendly affair — we'd love for your little ones to join in the fun! Our wedding celebration, however, will be an adults-only evening. We hope this gives you the perfect excuse for a wonderful night out!

Question

Can you recommend a babysitter?

Answer

Yes! We've vetted two wonderful, insured babysitting companies in the area for your convenience: 1. Park City Sitters — parkcitysitters.com/book-a-babysitter.html Owned by Rachel & Allison, Park City Sitters will personally touch base with your family to finalize details and confirm your reservation. We recommend booking about a month in advance to ensure the best availability. 2. Nanny Concierge — theconciergenannyco.com/contact Owned by Sarah & Christine, Nanny Concierge is another fantastic local option. When filling out their contact form, please mention that you're a guest at Erica & Anuj's wedding so they can coordinate on the backend. We hope this makes the weekend a little easier for your whole family!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, with dinner and dancing moving inside.

Question

Will the ceremony take place on grass?

Answer

Yes. Our ceremony will take place on the lawn at River Bottoms Ranch. We recommend choosing footwear that’s comfortable for walking on grass.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

August is Park City’s warmest month, with daytime highs typically in the low-to-mid 80s. Evenings cool down into the 50s, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for nighttime events.

Question

Is there anything we should know about the altitude?

Answer

River Bottoms Ranch sits at approximately 5,600 feet above sea level, and nearby Park City is around 7,000 feet. If you’re not used to higher elevations, you may notice that alcohol affects you more quickly and staying hydrated is especially important. We recommend drinking plenty of water throughout the weekend (Liquid IV is great to mix into water) and pacing yourself as you adjust to the altitude.
