Since Virginia Beach is a resort town, there are plenty of weekend or week rentals available! Anything on the North End is close to where the events are.
Flight
Norfolk International Airport ( ORF)
ORF has direct flights from many places. It's about a 20-25 min car ride from the beach. You can easily call an Uber or there's a taxi stand.
Travel Note
Ubers and Orange Peel
There are plenty of Ubers and they are very inexpensive, so definitely take advantage of that from the airport. There is also a company called Orange Peel; it's a reputable car service that can take up to 10-12 people( or less) from the airport if booked ahead of time.
