Explore downtown! Saratoga Springs’ downtown is fully alive during the summer, and it is filled with shopping, dining, book stores, and some fun unique stores down every street and alley. Some of our favorite spots are listed below: Northshire Bookstore - two full floors of books by a local bookseller New York State Military Museum - what kind of a history teacher would I be if I didn’t recommend this awesome place! Allerdice Building Supply - because my dad works there Saratoga Olive Oil - drop in for a free tasting of custom Olive Oils and Balsamics Saratoga Tea and Honey - Erica's FAVORITE place in downtown! Bella and Lindy - a fun dog boutique! Late Night Saratoga

Saratoga Springs is know for its night life. It is focused around Caroline Street, but there are many other places that you can go for food/drinks or just a good time. Below are some of our favorites. Henry Street Taproom - craft brews, good food, shuffleboard, and where we had our first date! Pint Sized - awesome microbrew spot right on Broadway Cooperstown Distillery - Craft cocktails right on Broadway Caroline Street Pub - where Adam plays in a dart league Hamlet and Ghost - for those who love high end signature cocktails The Wine Bar - right on Broadway, huge selection of wine and food to pair Saratoga City Tavern - four floors and a rooftop for those who want to party all night long!

Saratoga Race Course

The engine of Saratoga Springs. Known as one of, if not the, finest horse racing track in the country, the Saratoga Race Course is a great location for a fun filled day. Food and drinks are available for purchase (or carried in) and it is lots of fun to place a bet and watch from the grandstand or the front rail. Also, be on the lookout for a track event that Adam and Erica are planning on Thursday, August 10th! If you want to arrive early, our Wedding Weekend will include a day for all to come to the track with us and have fun in a tent that we have reserved!

Saratoga Spa State Park

Another crown jewel of Saratoga Springs, the Saratoga Spa State Park is a beautiful State Park filled with lots for all ages. Nature trails, swimming pools, pavilions to rent, a disc golf course, and more are all available. Additionally, the fantastic Saratoga Spa Golf Course and a Par 3 golf course are also nestled within the park.

Another claim to fame for Saratoga Springs is the Battle of Saratoga from the Revolutionary War. Consider a short drive to Schuylerville, NY to take in the sites of the turning point of the Revolution.

Saratoga Lake

A gorgeous lake less that 15 minutes from downtown. Paddleboards and kayaks can be rented from the Kayak Shack, boats chartered from Salvi, or just drop by Brown’s Beach and swing by 550 Waterfront for food and drinks after!
