We're getting hitched!

The First Wedding: The year was 2017. Adam had just moved to New Orleans, Erica had been there for a couple years. Adam went to his cousin's wedding. Erica went to the wedding of her college best friend. In a shocking coincidence, they turned out to be the same person! At Will's wedding, all night people were introducing the only two people at the wedding who lived in the Big Easy. "You guys really should be friends," they all said. And so they were. They were friends! The year was 2024 and Erica and Adam had been friends for yeeeears now! But something had changed, and after being friends (best friends, but only friends, Nishi!) for a long while, there were starting to be feelings that were something more... The Second Wedding: And so one fateful day in 2024, after dinner at a friend's house, where Erica got some sage advice from their then-six-year-old son Hugo about asking a boy on a date, Erica came over to Adam's house and sat on the floor with his dog, Waffles. She looked up, and to Adam's surprise she asked him to go to the wedding of our dear friends Sammy and Chris. "Sammy told me that I don't get a plus one, but I can get a plus Adam," Erica said. "But you have to really think about it!" And Adam thought about it, but he already knew the answer before the question was asked. And so our lovebirds embarked on a new chapter of life together, with a wedding first date in the rearview mirror, and transitioned a friendship into a deep, loving, romantic relationship. They traveled, by car and by plane. They laughed, at comedy and at each other. They brought friends into each others' lives. And one day, finally, Adam organized the scavenger hunt of a lifetime for Erica, which ended with him on one knee and a ring on her finger. The Third Wedding: And now, Erica and Adam are tying the knot! They are so thrilled to be able to celebrate with loved ones from near and far.
