Matron of Honor
Amber has been my best friend since middle school. I can only remember one fight we had and it was because she stole/ate my favorite starburst (orange) even after I pleaded with her not to. Don't worry I got her back by not passing her the ball all of basketball practice ;) Amber is the absolute worst at answering her phone, but when she does she is always there for me. I can't imagine our wedding without my sidekick. I'm so grateful for our lifelong friendship and can't wait for our kids to grow up together!
Best Man
Nathan has been my best friend since first grade. We shared many common interests right off the bat; pokemon, soccer, football, throwing rocks at his dads garage windows after he specifically told us not to and then proceeding to lie and say that the window was already broken, you know, the usual stuff. After we got our first detention together in 1st grade because we unscrewed the ketchup bottles in the cafeteria, I knew that this was a real quality kid that I wanted to stand by me as the best man in my wedding.
Maid of Honor
Amber is my future Sister-in-Law, and man it feels like she was meant to be my lil sis. I love this girl more than anything, and I can tell you we even fight like sisters. I'm so happy to have found her brother and that he brought along the best little sister. Amber shares my weirdness (she might have a little extra weird in her haha), so I'm never afraid to be myself with her. We have a strict no judgement zone which has saved us both from time to time ;) We're so lucky to share our day with her!
Groomsman
Steven and I didn't really become friends until about 5th grade. We shared a common friend (Nathan) and quite frankly the reason we didn't become friends earlier was because I was deathly afraid of him. I once saw him hip toss a 6th grader (he was in 3rd grade) in the 4th grade hallway bathroom. The moment I ripped his underwear on recess during "2 hand touch" football, I think I gained a little respect and we've been friends ever since.
Bridesmaid
Big Sis. Sarah has been like my sister every since we were young. She has been there for me through everything - including teaching me how to take Vodka and fill it up with water ;) I can't thank her enough for showing me through life and helping me grow into who I am today! She's the perfect role model and I'm so glad she got snagged up by Derek and that he kept her close to home <3
Groomsman
Blake and I were only mild acquaintances throughout most of grade school. I remember thinking his name was "blank" in 2nd grade and also remember thinking what kind of name is that but I went with it. I remember watching in awe as he booted a kickball onto the school roof as he was 1 of only about 5 kids in our class to do so. At this time the school roof seemed to be about 400 stories tall and for a 9 year old to perform such a feat was truly incredible. I knew I wanted to keep this superhero-footed guy close to me. Blake and I attended college together where we became very close, running the beer pong tables all night at every party we went to, even if that meant that we didn't socialize with anyone else, we didn't care. I couldn't think of a better guy to stand by me at my wedding.
Bridesmaid
Ole Teddy Gullettey. Although I didn't like her at first I'd say we landed right where we were supposed to be. From being a million miles away from one another for years, to her moving back to Wapak where she belongs, we have stayed close through even the toughest times. To my soulmate, the best kinder teacher and the biggest sports fan I know. Nothing much else really matters at all <3 (Had to pick a throwback picture from our many camera rolls back in the day)
Groomsman
Cory and I have been friends/cousins ever since his aunt married my uncle and it was complete destiny from then on out. To say we shared common interests would be an understatement. I could practically finish this guys thoughts before he even thought them. I remember going over to his house when we were young and just playing dragonball Z for hours as he sat in his tiny children's recliner that I was, and still am, very jealous of. I have never pulled more "all-nighters" with anyone else and its not even close. One of my all time greatest achievements was with Cory, we pulled the unthinkable and stayed up for over 60 hours straight running on nothing but Mtn dew, oreos and Rainbow Vegas Six. I cant think of a better guy to stand next to me on my next greatest achievement, getting married.
Bridesmaid
Oh Murry. One of four of my high school crew, Marissa has been my friend through some of the most fun times of my life. From dancing at the cabin to trips to Vegas with our moms, Marissa has been a constant in my life. She is one of the hardest working people I know and no matter where life takes her (currently an hour and a half away) she would drive to you just for a quick lunch. I'm lucky to have a friend like Marissa and I'm so glad her dad let her continue to hang out with me even after I ate all the marshmallows out of his lucky charms.
Groomsman
Andy and I didn't really become friends until I saw him do a backflip off the diving board at the Delphos pool. The dedication of this guy is unmatched; if the pool was open, Andy was there. I remember one instance when there was a storm brewing and the pool was about to close, you bet your bottom dollar that Andy was there. Not only was he the only person there, but a lifeguard had to follow him around as he continued his stay at this stormy abandon. Andy and I were roommates in college where we became very close, we both developed a love for fitness during our time here. He brought his dedication from his pool rat days to college and dragged me along with him. If the day ended in "Y" he wanted to be in the gym and would make me rue any day that I didn't come along.
Bridesmaid
Jodie is another high school BFF and I can truly say someone I cherish dearly. You will always know where you stand with Jodie because she is not afraid to tell you how it is. Her refreshing honesty has gotten us through a lot of times both serious and hysterical. I'm grateful for a friend like her even when she lies about hangovers and can't take ibuprofen on an empty stomach ;)
Groomsman
Mitchell and I actually began our relationship as mortal enemies, if you ask any of us why we wont be able to tell you. I remember just hating his guts in junior high and really couldn't tell you a real reason. Later on in life we reminisced on this and still couldn't find a viable reason why we shared such hate. Sometime in high school this skirmish dissipated when we realized that we actually share a lot of the same interests. I was over at his house one time when he absolutely destroyed me in ping pong. He proceeded to tell me to hold on because he had to go pick on his brother Luke, they had about a 5 minute wrestling match until mitch finally pinned his head against the carpet. Mitchell is known for 2 things, being particular and being late, I just hope you're not late to the wedding.
Bridesmaid
Tera wraps up our crew of hometown hotties. She is selfless, crazy and funny as hell. I think I laugh more with her than anyone I know. She would do absolutely anything for you and I can't imagine life without her. We had our entanglements back in the day (middle school girls are mean haha), but I think it's because we were so alike. I'm so excited to have you by my side through our wedding and many other life accomplishments.
Groomsman
Luke has always just been "Mitch's brother" for almost my whole life. I would go over to their house to hang out with Mitch and Luke would just be doing his own thing, partially because I'm pretty sure he was afraid of Mitch. Mitch had a tendency to start random wrestling matches with Luke without his approval and Mitch would usually come out on top. I think Luke took this to heart because he started working out... ALOT. He gained about 1000 pounds of muscle after high school. This being said, Mitch and I visited Luke at college where, of course, a wrestling match ensued. Luke won this one and I could see the respect falling out of Mitch's crushed pelvis. Luke came around more often after college where we became very close, I couldn't think of a better dude to stand by me on my wedding day
Bridesmaid
Wow. This chick. I can't even put into words how much she means to me. We played softball together at OWU and were inseparable. All of my favorite memories from college include Dani and I'm so grateful for how fast she could pitch a softball. Thank you for always being down to clown and get random tattoos with me.
Groomsman
Cody and I attended college together where we shared common friends. I remember going to a party and seeing this guy with huge fake diamond earrings, a sideways flat bill, buckle jeans and a designer shirt running the beer pong table. I knew that I wanted to be friends with this guy immediately. This guy ended up being Cody. Cody is the most genuinely kind guy you will ever meet. He is the kind of guy that would drop whatever he is doing to come help out a friend. After all these years after college, despite living almost 2 hours apart, we still find a way to get together.. usually to golf. My wedding party wouldn't be complete without a Cody.
Bridesmaid
Emily and I had quite the start. We also met at OWU and mostly hated each other (why is this a theme for me?) HAHA. Senior year is when it all turned around because she was accidently placed with my friend Dani in the dorms. THANK GOD FOR THAT. I cannot imagine life without her in it. She has the most amazing heart and her friendship is sacred.
Groomsman
Joel and I didn't really become close until high school; more specifically: anatomy class. Joel has always been a goofball as long as I can remember but he was pretty much well behaved in school. Sometimes your friends bring out the worst in you. For example, I remember in anatomy class Joel and Nathan (they shared a table) were messing around in their notebook and writing notes and doing other things they weren't supposed to be doing during class when Mr. Hopkins yelled "what are you doing?", Joel slammed the notebook shut and Nathan and him both stood up (not suspicious right?) He then asked again "what are you doing" Joel answered "you told us to stand" he clearly didn't and they both sat down, embarrassed. I just hope he listens better at our wedding than he did in anatomy class.
Bridesmaid
My lil Aussie mate. Cate and I were freshmen year roommates at OWU. I honestly cannot get over how perfect of a pairing that was (for us and the other two girls we lived with, shoutout Alex and Pri!). We had one heck of a year, but it was our study abroad trip to Australia that brought us even closer. Cate is the type of friend that gets along with everyone, but isn't afraid to stick up for her crew. She is the most genuine person you'll ever meet and forever my little squishy :)
Groomsman
Royce is Erica's older brother. At first I was nervous to meet him because the main job of an older brother is to scare away all the boys that get too close to their baby sister.. I should know. When I did meet Royce I learned very quickly that he a very kind and easy going person. He is a great father to his 2 girls and that makes me very confident that he will be a very good uncle to my future children. I'm glad that he didn't try to scare me away from his sister and also that he could stand next to me during me and Erica's big day
Bridesmaid
Nikki and I only met 3 years ago, but it feels like we've been friends forever. She is married to TJ's best friend and I'm so happy Nathan locked that down. Nikki is one of the smartest (book smart to be clear ;D) people I know. Her passion for learning is honestly unmatched and I learn something new from her everyday. She is a one of a kind friend and I'm grateful I found her when I did! Thanks for keeping me sane amongst this group of men.
Flower Girl
Our favorite little people :) Amelia and Harley are Erica's nieces. They are the smartest, cutest, most fiery little things!! We can't wait to share our day with them and watch them eventually be the best cousins :)
Ring Bearer
Krewman is the nephew of Erica. He is so old now it is hard to believe! He is the most polite and genuine little dude and we can't wait to have him join us on our big day :)
Ring Bearer
Noodles is our pride and joy. Ask anyone and they will tell you he's literally our child. We take him everywhere with us and I wouldn't have it any other way! He is the cutest bubby, and the most gentle and well behaved boy. We could not imagine this day without him and we can't wait for him to show off his handsomeness to all our family and friends!!
Usher
Stef is Erica's best friend/roommate/teammate/soulmate from college. Stef currently lives in Germany with her girlfriend Gina and we are so so excited to have them be able to not only make our wedding, but be involved! Stef is a one of a kind human and never ceases to amaze with her perseverance and humor. Gina is the perfect match for her and I'm thrilled they found each other!!
Officiant
Sherry is my mom's best friend from Maryland and the quite honestly the funniest person I know. My whole life I have called her "Hey You" because when I was little I kept forgetting her name and would just holler "HEY YOU" whenever I needed her attention. In classic Hey You fashion she rolled with it. I'm so grateful that not only I have someone like her in my life, but that she is forever in my moms. She might be the only one that can set my mom straight when she needs it, or make her life when she's sad. I look up to the friendship these two have made and always look forward to our time together. We cannot think of anyone better to marry us this October :)
