Every experience in New Orleans is different. A great start to determining what kind of visit you have is picking the right location. Note: We live in Bayou St. John/ Esplanade Ridge. We are approximately .5 miles from the Degas House.

Flight

New Orleans Int Airport (MSY)

Guests travelling to the wedding will arrive in our new airport! We will be available to meet you at the airport to help make your arrival to the city as stress-free and seamless as possible. Just let either one of us know!

Train

New Orleans Streetcars

A fun an leisurely way to see the city . Highly recommend taking the St. Charles line into the French Quarter.

Travel Note

New Orleans Blue Bike rentals

MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE DUE TO COVID. Pay by the hour and pick up/drop off at various locations through the city. There are bike lanes running throughout most neighborhoods. For all you adrenaline junkies this is a fun and exhilarating way to experience New Orleans.

House Or Rental

AirBnB

We have not blocked out rooms at a hotel because we really don't feel like it's the best way to experience the city. We are recommending renting an apartment or house through AirBnb, VRBO, or any other vacation rental website. Our neighborhood is Bayou St. John which is located in the larger area of Mid-City. New Orleans is a melting pot and good and not-so-good neighborhoods can run together. Feel free to contact either one of us if you'd like a local opinion of an area you're looking at.
