Where did you get engaged?
Answer
It was so nice, we did it twice! During our trip to Jasper National Park, Erica proposed to Anna in a canoe on the incredible Maligne Lake. Later, Anna proposed to Erica at home with Sooty (our cat) just before heading to dinner at our favorite restaurant, Folk. Anna then surprised Erica with an engagement celebration surrounded by family and close friends!

Erica is a school librarian for grades K-8 at Explore Community School in East Nashville. As per usual, she is every kid's favorite and makes reading FUN!

Anna is a Nurse leader at Monroe Carrel Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in their Pediatric Cardiac ICU. She is phenomenal at what she does, and her thoughtfulness, kindness, and compassion shine through in her interactions with her staff and patients.

Erica has the most wonderful, loving, hilarious brother, NATE! He is two years older and lives in Johnson City.

Erica's parents, Mark and Karen, live in Evansville, Indiana, but their heart belongs in Michigan! They are BLUE THROUGH AND THROUGH. They share a love of games, pranks, and heartfelt moments with the people they love most. Anna's parents, Charlie and Martha, were both born and raised in Paris....Tennessee, yall. After some time in Memphis, they moved to Nashville on New Years Eve of 1971. Happy Nashiversary! They share a love of Roe, their favorite Grandson, gardening, and time with lifelong friends and neighbors!
