Things To Do

Welcome to Baltimore! If you have never been, let us guide you through some things that make Baltimore feel like home to us!

Fells Point

Baltimore, MD 21231

Come Early, Stay Late — Fells Point Awaits! 🦀 While you're in town celebrating with us, take some time to explore one of Baltimore's most charming neighborhoods (and our home!), Fells Point. Stroll the cobblestone streets along the waterfront, grab a legendary crab cake or the famous "Captain Crunch French Toast" at the beloved Blue Moon Cafe, or settle in for dinner and fresh seafood at the highly-praised Thames Street Oyster House. History buffs will love a visit to The Horse You Came In On Saloon, one of Baltimore's oldest bars (fun fact: Edgar Allan Poe reportedly stopped here before his mysterious death!). End the night with live music at Cat's Eye Pub, a true local gem. And if you have an extra afternoon, Fort McHenry, the birthplace of the Star-Spangled Banner, is just a short drive away. Feel free to substitute any piece of your day for the additional recommendations listed below! We couldn't imagine a better place to gather our favorite people! 🥂

Baltimore Water Taxi

901 South Broadway, Baltimore, MD 21231

The Water Taxi is one of the most fun ways to hop between Fells Point, the Inner Harbor, Federal Hill, and more, all with gorgeous harbor views along the way. And its even free on weekdays! We love this as an option as it allows us to go car-free and not worry about parking :)

Hampden Avenue

Hampden Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21211

Wander Hampden & Scoop Up Something Special 🍦 Just a short drive from Fells Point, Hampden is one of Baltimore's quirkiest and most lovable neighborhoods, full of indie shops, colorful row houses, breweries, and great eats along "The Avenue" (W. 36th St). Cap it off with a stop at The Charmery, our favorite and beloved local ice cream shop known for inventive seasonal flavors and handcrafted, premium scoops. Our go-to is Maryland Mud, but Maria loves to try any and all of the unique, rotational flavors.

District of Columbia

Washington, DC

Take a Day Trip to Washington, D.C.! 🏛️ Baltimore's prime location means D.C. is just about an hour away, and the easiest way to get there is the MARC train, which runs straight from Baltimore's Penn Station into Union Station in the heart of the city. No driving, no parking headaches, just step off and you're walking distance from the National Mall, the Smithsonian museums, the Lincoln Memorial, and some incredible food and neighborhoods. It's the perfect way to squeeze a little extra adventure into your trip without missing a beat!
