Where to Stay

We have blocks of discounted rooms reserved at two hotels in Downtown Brooklyn (see below), within immediate walking distance of our venue, major transit hubs, and several great neighborhoods to explore. There are many other nearby hotels, as well. Permanent short-term rentals (i.e. AirBnBs) are illegal in New York City.

Travel Note

Getting Here

New York is served by three major airports, all of which are reasonably accessible to/from Downtown Brooklyn. If you are staying in Brooklyn, we recommend flying into JFK or LaGuardia over Newark if you have the option, especially in light of recent events with air traffic control. —Transportation from Airports— Public transit directions on Google Maps are generally reliable. You can take a yellow cab (which accepts credit cards) by lining up at the taxi stand. For rideshare apps, follow the signs to the pickup area. Hopefully this goes without saying, but do not accept rides from strangers. –To Downtown Brooklyn– –From JFK– Transit: $7.25, ~1hr Car: ~$75, 45–60min+ –From LGA– Transit: $2.90, ~80min Car: ~$55, 25–40min+ –From EWR– Transit: ~$20, 90min–2hr Car: ~$120, 30–60min+
