After three good mutual friends from California, Louisiana, and North Carolina all told us about each other, we had to meet. And so we did. After a magical night of exploring and deep conversation, we found ourselves singing together for the first time for an audience of two, and as they danced underneath the street lights by the shimmering lake, we were both convinced that our friends were very right. We were smitten from day one.

Cristina and Cori went to JP Catholic together and a few years later, when Eric was on a music tour in California, he met her. She told them about each other and said they’d be friends.

Olivia and Cori also went to JP Catholic together but Olivia moved home to North Carolina and a few years later, met Eric while he was out there playing a gig at a conference in North Carolina. Olivia told them about each other and said they’d be friends.

Eric met John through playing music for the church and Cori met John at JP Catholic while he was visiting to play music. Later Cori went on a life changing music tour with John and some good friends. John told them about each other and said they’d be friends!

After attending Will and Rebekah's wedding in London, Eric convinced Cori to go to Rome for a few days. On the last day they attended Mass for the Feast of the Epiphany with Pope Francis, visited the Roman Colosseum, and after returning to the Vatican in the evening, Eric proposed to Cori in front of St Joseph's altar in St Peter's Basilica. She said "yes" as the choirs sang "Silent Night" in Italian and they celebrated by praying a rosary at St Joseph's altar and grabbing some delicious gelato as they walked the streets of Rome.
