Were Getting Married!

We met on Easter. For those who know we met online... for those who didn't know we met online haha. Anyway, let's get into it! SOOO, we met on Easter 2025. Yes, we know Easter is a Holy day that is not often associated with stumbling upon the person you would become one flesh with one day. With that being said, it was a huge blessing. Marriage is not just about the people praying for a life partner but it is supposed to be a reflection of the Trinity. There is not a version of this story in which Christ is not at the center. With that being said, it was a beautiful day when 'locked eyes" in The Ark dating app- speed dating chat room. There was an online speed dating event. Both of us were on our last straw when it came to dating and were about to give up on it all together. After some laughs and easy conversation the rest was history. Forever, Easter will be about Christ but the 20th of April will be the day that Yahweh restored hope in our lives in ways we never expected. Our Hope is in the cross always and forever. On the 20th God did not place our hope in marriage over the cross. However, Christ chose to give us a gift that we did not deserve, in addition to the work Christ did on the cross. God does not owe any of us anything, but despite that fact, God blessed us with each other. Thank you Lord for the life, death, and resurrection of your Only Begotten Son on the cross. Easter may be celebrated on a different day every year but let our relationship reflect the work of Christ 365 days a year.
