What to wear?

We want you to be comfortable at our wedding! We ask that you please wear formal attire such as a nice dress or separates for women and a suit and tie for men. Ladies the streets are cobblestone so I would definitely recommend a block heel.

Do I need a passport?
Answer
Yes you need a US Passport. If you are a US Citizen and have a valid passport you do not need a tourist visa to visit Germany for up to 90 days. There is a plan in motion by the EU for US citizens to need a travel visa to visit but it has not been set in stone. We are monitoring this closely and will reach out if anything changes on needing a travel visa.

Do I need to rent a car?
Answer
No! The city is extremely accessible and walkable. The only car service that may be needed is to and from the airport.

Will I have cell service?
Answer
No. You will need to purchase an international plan through your provider or connect to wifi to use Whats App or iMessage. In addition, you can buy a sim card once in Germany.

Yes you need an outlet converter to plug into German electrical outlets.
