Yes, you will need a passport. Government websites are projecting a lead time of about 4-10 weeks and up to 90 days so we recommend applying early if you do not have one to avoid any rush fees.
The hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport and the hotel has a shuttle that will take you from the airport to the resort. You can schedule your shuttle when you book your room.
This is an all-inclusive resort, so all of the dining and drink options on the property will be covered as part of your room reservation.
You do not have to stay at Velas, the resort where the festivities will be taking place and where we have our room block. However, if you do not stay at the property, they will charge $200 per person as a entry fee for the event.
All of our wedding festivities are adult-only, so it might be easier to travel without your children. That said, Velas is a family-friendly resort that does offer daycare services if you would like to make it a trip for the whole family and bring your kids with you.
