We're a success story from Tinder. We both swiped right :). Our first date was in NY, in the east village on January 5th 2016. We met at a bar called Ten Degrees on St. Marks St. There was a 2 for 1 drinks special from 8pm-11pm. After 2 drinks each we went around the corner for tapas at a spanish restaurant. Fun fact, Melissa arrived first and waited at the bar. When Lon arrived, she was already drinking Lagavulin Single Malt Scotch. From that moment on, Lon knew :). Lon went with the mojito for the drink of choice haha!

Lon and Melissa traveled to Australia for a wedding in Melbourne and to visit Melissa's sister in Bondi Beach (Sydney). They spent their first 4 days in Bondi Beach Australia staying with Heather, Melissa's sister. After the 3rd day Lon proposed on the Coogee Beach Walk on February 26th 2020. It was off the beaten path on a look out area on the ocean. Melissa's response, "It's ABOUT TIME!"
