Cilantro and Ajo is Courtney's favorite affordable place to eat. It is a traditional Venezuelan restaurant. You can go for lunch or dinner (closed on Monday). They have incredible "sandwiches" called arepas. Her favorites are the "pabellon" and "reina pepiada".
Pusadee's Garden is in Lawrenceville, close to downtown Pittsburgh. It is on the more expensive side, and typically you need a reservation... but man, is it worth it! It is unfortunately closed on Sunday, but perhaps you can make it work on Friday, the day before the wedding.
St. Anthony is home to the second most saint relics in the world (next to the Vatican). Check this place out, and say a prayer for us there!
The Nutcracker will be at the Benedum from December 6th to December 28th
Formerly "Heinz Field"... catch a Steelers game vs. the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day, or on December 30th vs. the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Penguins will be playing the New York Islanders on December 29th at 5:30pm. Plenty of time to recover from the night before!
During the winter, there is outdoor ice skating in downtown Pittsburgh. Even if you aren't into ice skating, it's fun to hangout in this part of town!
