Maid of Honor
She'll probably tell you all about this during her speech (she's an epic journalist and wicked story teller), and our moms will tell you we've been friends since preschool, but our friendship truly cemented during 6th grade AAU basketball on Livingston County Sting. After spending the season on the bench (even though we were convinced we were starting material), Lindsay, her mom and sister moved 4 houses down from my family and the rest was history! Regrettably, her family moved to Georgia just before I turned 16, but that did not stop us from calling each other every.single.day (back when these phones were attached the wall, nonetheless). Fast forward through college, that year we both basically hated not being in college anymore, and the last 6, we've never doubted our friendship.
Best Man
Kellam, Killian. Sometimes chance determines your fate: Rally and the groom grew up in alphabetical order, thereby attached at the hip. They've been through every major life season together... from kindergarten to high school graduation and post-college to engagement. It just wouldn't be right to have anyone else stand up on Patrick's behalf on his biggest day (aside from the day he was donned a Medical Doctor).
Flower Girl
Adorable Emmie was born 48 hours after we got engaged! She's Patrick's niece and we couldn't love her more!
Ring Bearer
Jackson is the bride's nephew and it's safe to say she's obsessed with this goofy guy! He made his debut during the weekend of our engagement.
Honor Attendant
One of Patrick's two sisters, his constant soccer companion, Hudson & Emmie's mom :)
Honor Attendant
Rose is the bride's sister-in-law. Hopefully, she loved getting a call from us announcing our engagement while she was in labor...!
Usher
Chris has been the brother Patrick never had since middle school. Married to Stephanie and father to Emmie & Hudson!
Usher
John is the bride's only sibling and they bond over mountain or lake sports and craft beer. He's also Jackson's dad :)
Usher
Pete and Patrick go farther back than Elizabeth and Patrick, although they all met at Michigan. He hails from school years in Pennsylvania and summers in Northern Michigan but then called the greater Los Angeles area home until he recently set out on a new adventure.
Officiant
Elizabeth's paternal uncle, David, is an ordained minister and we are thrilled to have him perform our wedding ceremony!
