Our home and 15 minutes from wedding venue! Several neat restaurants (The Batteau, Tavern on the James, The Bend BBQ), great coffee shop (Baine's), sweet bakery (Baked on the James), and various stores/boutiques. Easy to park and walk around without any issue. Great farmer's market on Saturday morning. Take a walk over the bridge for a beautiful view of the James River.
Totier Creek Reservoir Park
We walk our dog Guinness here all the time. Several trails that allow for various distance hikes. Right down the street from our home!
Carter Mountain Orchard and Country Store
Awesome mountain views with ability to sit and enjoy a picnic, pick apples or peaches, and drink Bold Rock cider.
University of Virginia
Honestly just a fun, historical place to walk around. (Sorry Hokie fans.)

Delicious wine. Very COVID-conscious place to relax and enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Blue Ridge Tunnel Trail
One-mile trail of an old railroad tunnel. Plenty of parking on either side of the tunnel. Bring your flashlights!
