It all started when Enzo participated in a youth group retreat at St. John Neumann, where he met Andrea, who was serving. At the time, Enzo was 14, and Andrea was 16. It was a beautiful time in their lives. They both loved attending church and learning what it meant to live a life with God at the center. Naturally, Enzo and Andrea gravitated toward the same people in the youth group and began forming a tight-knit bond with their now closest friends. As time passed, Enzo began courting Andrea as he wanted to be more than friends. At first, Andrea was a little hesitant due to their two-year age difference. At that point, Enzo was 16, and Andrea was 18. Eventually, Andrea realized she might be passing on the love of her life over something that would seem silly once they were older. Their first date was actually on Valentine's Day in 2015. After about five months of dating, Enzo officially asked Andrea to be his girlfriend on July 24, 2015. Enzo and Andrea quickly fell for one another, discovering they shared many similar interests, including music, food, and travel. Their first trip ever was with Enzo's family to San Antonio, Texas, only a month after making it official. They were then lucky enough to travel all over the country and the world together. Along the way, they discovered their favorite place: Hawaii. It’s the place they have traveled to the most and can never get enough of—the place they would eventually name their dog after and the place where Enzo would propose. They also loved spending time with their families, both of whom welcomed Enzo and Andrea with open arms. Enzo gained three brothers he never had, and Andrea gained the sister she never had. Throughout the years, Enzo and Andrea continued to grow both as individuals and as a couple. They quite literally grew up together, learning about themselves and each other in ways that have shaped who they are today. They share the same values, beliefs, and goals, making them very compatible. They have been through every milestone together—from multiple graduations and new jobs to moving halfway across the country and back. In 2024, Enzo and Andrea made the big move to Omaha, Nebraska, for a year after Enzo was offered a job opportunity. During that time, they experienced life away from friends and family, relying only on each other while adjusting to a new city, a different culture, and the changing seasons. There was no better time for a companion, which is why they decided to get Maui, their amazing and lovable dog/first son. He brought them so much joy and gave them something new to bond over. After a year, they returned to Miami and bought their first home in October of 2025. Now, 11 years later, they are excited to join together in Holy Matrimony, continue growing side by side, and soon welcome a family of their own. P.S. To our friends and family—thank you!
