Every great love story has a spark, and ours began with a Super Swipe. Enrique spotted Shannon on the Bumble Dating App and took a chance. Little did we know, that single swipe would set everything in motion. After a couple days of nonstop texting and talking on the phones, Enrique asked Shannon out on a date. Our first date was at Wings & Rings, followed by Smart Axe throwing, it was a night full of laughter, nerves, and a secret spy with Shannon’s best friend a couple tables over making sure Enrique passed the test. (Spoiler: he did.) From that night on, conversation flowed effortlessly, and we quickly realized how many things we shared in common. From Chris Stapleton and Zach Bryan on repeat, to countless similarities and coincidences that felt almost too perfect, it became clear we were meant to find each other. Looking back, it turns out we had crossed paths long before Bumble brought us together. Enrique was working as a financial aid advisor at Shannon’s college, and he even attended her graduation ceremony—unknowingly in the same room as his future wife. The universe had already placed us in each other’s lives; we just weren't in the know, yet! Over the last three years Enrique and Shannon have made quiet the little life together, transforming the ordinary into endless adventures: baseball games, concerts, Disney trips, and quiet evenings filled with love and laughter (Unless we're playing a boardgame, then all bets are off and it's every man for himself). Through it all, we’ve built a partnership grounded in friendship, support, respect, and the kind of joy that only grows stronger with time. We can’t wait to start this next chapter together and are so grateful to share our wedding day with the people we love most!
