Downtown Dallas is a continuously growing area with a beautiful arts scene, urban green spaces, fine dining and luxurious shopping. If you are staying in town longer, find some time to visit the Reunion Tower, the Giant eyeball, the Klyde Warren Park, the Museum of Arts, the Sixth Floor Museum (chronicles the life, assassination of president JFK), Dallas Zoo, Dallas Aquarium, Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, the Rustic (where we had our first date), ride the Dallas Streetcar for free
Deep Ellum
The lively Deep Ellum entertainment district is known for its vibrant street murals, quirky art galleries and long-time concert venues for indie and blues. If you are staying in town longer, find some time to visit Harper’s, Pecan Lodge, Terry Black’s Barbeque, Vidorra, Zatar Lebanese Tapas, Serious Pizza, Elm & Good, Cane Rosso, Local, Purépecha Room and some live music at Mama Tried Honky Tonk. RH Rooftop Restaurant Dallas
RH Rooftop Restaurant features an ingredient driven menu accompanied by a curated selection of artisanal wines and craft beers. Guests dine beneath a glass-and-steel atrium amidst trickling fountains, heritage olive trees, and glimmering chandeliers. This is a great place for brunch or dinner.
