It was a Saturday back in 2012, and we both decided to help out a mutual friend and attend her yoga class. There were only a handful of people in attendance, so it was pretty easy to spot each other from across the room. One week later, we were on our first date at the Library Ale House in Santa Monica, where we bonded over fish tacos, craft beer, and witty banter. The rest is history!

We were at Carmel-by-the-Sea for the weekend when Michael pulled out a little bag of diamonds on the beach, at sunset, and all I could say for a full minute was, “are you serious?!” Then once the shock wore off, I said YES! The wait was over, the nerves were over, and we headed to the nearest bar for a celebratory drink!
