What is the dress code?
Answer
We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress in your best formal cocktail attire. Please no jeans or denim and no shades of white. The wedding party will be wearing navy blue and merlot. Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We love all of our family’s and friend’s children, but due to space restrictions we cannot accommodate guests under age 21 on our wedding day, with the exception of the wedding party. We encourage you to use the evening to have a fun date night! Exceptions will not be made.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Due to the limited capacity of our venue, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless specifically indicated on your envelope. For example, if you have a plus one, your invitation will have “Guest” specifically written on it. We want everyone to share in the celebration and this will ensure that we are surrounded by our close family and friends. We hope you understand!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 PM CST. We ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes before to find seating.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
For guests driving, there is complimentary parking at Allegra Banquets, however, space is limited. For guests staying at the Hyatt Rosemont, a shuttle from the hotel will be available to transport hotel guests to and from the venue. The shuttle will make as many trips necessary to take our guests to the venue, but at the end of the night will only make one trip to bring guests back to the hotel.

Answer
Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors.

Answer
Yes, there will be an open bar!

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, it can be delivered to Sarah's parents home at 4152 N. Pontiac Ave, Chicago, IL 60634. A wedding card box will be available at the reception.

What type of food will you be serving at your wedding?
Answer
We will be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down, family style dinner with soup, salad, three main entrees, potatoes, vegetables, and of course dessert! Please let us know if you have any special dietary requests.

What if I do not RSVP in time?
Answer
We ask that you kindly mail back the RSVP card and envelope enclosed in the invitation by October 2nd. If you missed the date and plan on attending the wedding, please contact Sarah directly at (312) 952-9036.
