Zach and Katie met during their freshman year at CSU. Early on, Katie went around door to door asking her dorm neighbors if they wanted to join her fantasy football league. She knocked on his door and it was love at first sight!

Zach recreated their first date, a picnic at City Park in Fort Collins! He packed all the same foods, they went to the same spot under the same tree, with the same picnic blanket and everything. Katie said yes!
