Our story began during the pandemic when we met online and had our first date at HuHot. With so much time to spend together, our connection grew quickly. After nearly two wonderful years, we took a big leap and moved to Virginia. A year later, we bought a house and poured our hearts into renovating it together. Surviving the ups and downs of home renovation proved we’re a strong team, and we couldn’t be more excited for what the future holds!

Our engagement was a birthday trip turned magical moment! Chris surprised Ashlee on a trip to Colorado for her birthday, where they started the day exploring the Nature and Science Museum—a fitting choice since they bonded over their love of space. Near the end of the visit, Chris led Ashlee to the rooftop overlooking the city, where their friends Zac, Logan, and Elena were secretly disguised, ready to capture the big moment. Chris got down on one knee, and Ashlee said “Are you serious yes!” The surprises didn’t stop there—later that evening, what Ashlee thought was a birthday party turned out to be an engagement celebration surrounded by their closest friends and family. It was truly a day to remember!

Our wedding day will take place on October 25, 2025, at the beautiful Gatehouse at Lionsgate Event Center. Weather permitting, we will exchange vows outdoors in a stunning ceremony before moving indoors to celebrate with our loved ones. Guests will enjoy a delicious homestyle buffet, an open bar, and great company. As the night winds down, we’ll top it all off with a late-night pizza bar to keep the celebration going! We can’t wait to share this special day with everyone who means the most to us.
