Newport's enchanting 3.5-mile Cliff Walk is the perfect place for your moment of peace. Panoramic ocean views, crashing waves and the perfect amount of sea breeze on one side and stunning, century-old, Gilded Age mansions on the other. This walk is free to the public, and tours of some houses are offered at an additional fee! There are several entrances to make this as long/short as you'd like.

Today, it operates as a museum, offering visitors a glimpse into the extravagant lifestyle of America's wealthiest families during the late 19th century.
