Questions

Question

Photo & Video during the Wedding Ceremony

Answer

We have a wonderful photographer, Abbey, capturing photos during our Ceremony. Please be respectful of our wishes and turn off your phones completely. That means off... not put back in your pocket waiting for a phone call to go off in the middle of the ceremony. The best moments in life are felt, not recorded. Please celebrate this moment with us disconnected from everything. Nothing is worse than pictures of a special moment being ruined by one person recording/taking pictures for a Facebook post. There will be a moment at the end of the Ceremony where you will be able to take your phones out and record. Please wait for the officiant to announce.

Question

RSVP

Answer

Under the "RSVP" tab, it says to RSVP by May 1st. Any guest that does not RSVP by May 1st, a seat or food will not be saved for you. Vendors require an exact head count weeks prior to the wedding. As for guests who do RSVP but your plans change and you cannot attend, be respectful and communicate that to either Zach or Carly. It's easier for us to remove your name then to spend the money for you when you're not able to attend.

Question

Children Attending the Wedding

Answer

Let's be real... we all know a crying child is distracting during a wedding ceremony. It's something that cannot be avoided and it just happens, we all understand that. In the situation a child is upset prior to the Ceremony, please watch from inside. Or, if a child starts to cry during the Ceremony, please politely remove yourself and your child and watch the ceremony from indoors. All children must be with an adult at all times. The property has a pond, wooded area, and is directly next to Route 30. It is your responsiblity to watch your child at all times.

Question

The Bar

Answer

An open bar will be avaible for guests during Cocktail Hour. After Cocktail Hour ends, it is cash bar only. If you decide to drink, you are responsible for arranging a room (See Travel tab for more information) or a ride home. Guests will be cut off by our bartenders if you're visibly intoxicated.

Question

Plus Ones

Answer

Please only bring the guest(s) who are listed on your invitation/RSVP group. Additional guests cannot be accommodated for food and seating. If a child of yours is not listed, please understand there will be children at the wedding, but we cannot accommodate for every single one of them. Consider this as a date night for just the two of you!

Question

Dress Code

Answer

We request semi-formal attire for our special day. We suggest women wear dressy seperates or midi to floor length dresses. For men, a suit or a dress shirt with a tie and dress pants is appropriate. Please leave all jeans, tennis shoes/sneakers, athletic wear, etc. at home. A wedding is a formal event. Zach does not want to dress up either, we can all do it for one day!
