Question

What is the dress code for the weekend?

Answer

June can be a toss up in Montauk and weather is never predictable in a beach town. We highly recommend always having a warm layer option for the evenings!!!! Welcome Party: White party coastal attire! Dresses, skirts, white button downs, linens. Outdoor beach area is rocky so please plan shoes accordingly for comfort. Ceremony / Reception: Summer Formal. We encourage guests to have FUN with their attire, and embrace summer colors, but request men wear a suits & tie and women in mid to floor length formal dresses. The cocktail hour and ceremony will be on grass so we encourage women to choose shoes accordingly.

Question

What is the best way to get to Montauk from the airport?

Answer

Car rental is always an option at any airport. Keep in mind the weekend traffic out east will be a factor so plan accordingly. Islip Long Island MacArthur Airport: Long Island Railroad Ronkonkoma / MacArthur Airport Station has a trainline to Montauk Station. Hampton Jitney is a shuttle that has a stop at Islip. Be sure to book a ticket in advance for the Jitney. JFK Airport: You can take the Airtrain to Jamaica Station and transfer to the Long Island Railroad line. This train goes to Montauk. There are specific times this train runs so you need to check the train schedules in adnvace.

Question

Answer

Uber / Lyfts are readily available if you don't have a car

Question

When should I book a hotel?

Answer

ASAP! Please see the 'accommodations' page for info on the hotels and how to contact to book with a discount. Most of the hotels release our blocks on March 20th. Feel free to contact us for any questions.

Question

Will the events be indoors?

Answer

Welcome Party: Ideally we will be outside and on the water for sunset. If it rains, we have the option to move inside. Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Reception: We are planning for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, but will tent if needed. Reception will be in a tent. All events will be waterfront so we recommend bringing a warm layer for the evening.
