Back in 2007, Vickie and Dustin both started working at HKS, Inc, without knowing that their dream career would lead to them finding each other. They went the first 2 years without ever truly knowing each other, but yet silently noticed each other. Sometimes it was Vickie noticing him walk to his car at lunch as she went to class and thinking he's handsome or Dustin noticing her walk down the stairs, looking up from his desk, and thinking she's beautiful. Both of them thinking, there's something about the other. In 2009, destiny played it's part by conveniently moving them into desks next to each other. That's all it took. They became friends, and then best friends, and as destiny wanted all along, each other’s soul mates and partners in life.

It all started with a trip to the Hill Country of Texas for Memorial Day weekend. Vickie is terrible at making vacation plans, besides knowing she wants to go on a vacation, so Dustin conveniently (he denies it, but she still believes he had it up his sleeve the whole time) suggested locations and soon after they had a trip planned. They would start day one with driving out to Enchanted Rock, hike up to the top, and then spend the rest of the weekend in Fredericksburg, Texas exploring the small town. Prior to the trip, Vickie was a bit hopeful, but really wasn't sure. When they got to Enchanted Rock, Dustin changed into a lighter t-shirt, and Vickie thought, "well, this isn't the spot". They climbed up to the top, took in the view, enjoyed sitting on various areas of the rock just talking to each other, and then at one of the spots, Dustin asked Vickie if she wanted to go to another area of the rock. She said, "Sure". Dustin told her to lead the way, so she did and started walking. She quickly realized Dustin wasn't behind her, heard him say “hu tane prem karu chu” Gujrati for “I Love You” so she turned back and saw him opening a ring box. She yelled, "Oh my gosh”, ran back to him and hugged him, didn't even let him get down on one knee. She was just too elated, her best friend, her soul mate, just proposed to her! From that day forward, Vickie always says, I climbed a big enchanted rock, and got a rock of my own. Many think this means her engagement ring, but really she's referring to Dustin, the rock of her life, her enchanted rock, hence the #enchantedbyharris.
