Disneyland Park
The happiest place on earth! Also about 35 miles from the venue, so maybe don't uber there.
Universal Studios Hollywood
Go for the Harry Potter ride. Stay because it cost you just as much as going to Disneyland.
Griffith Observatory
Because Los Angeles has a beautiful skyline, and this is one of the best places to view it from. Also you can see the Hollywood Sign!
Santa Monica Pier
Boardwalks, beaches, tourists - what more could you want?
El Matador Beach
A little ways up the coast in Malibu is one of our favorite beaches. Check out the photos tab to see the engagement photos we took there! It's accessible by a steep staircase, so wear comfy shoes and don't forget that what goes down to the beach must come back up to the parking lot.
The Last Bookstore
A truly excellent independent bookstore in the heart of downtown. We've lost ourselves for hours here. Ian particularly enjoys the record section, while Emyli gravitates towards the comic room. They also are know for their book tunnel. Seriously. It's great.
Aquarium of the Pacific
Our favorite aquarium and one of our first dates! They also offer whale watching tours, which are great.
Exposition Park Rose Garden
A great place for a casual stroll, or a picnic, or just a beautiful place to relax. Admission is free, but parking is $15 so while you're there, check out the Science Museum, Natural History Museum, and California African American Museum all in the same park.
