We're getting married!

When Emylee saw Jeremy's profile on Tinder, she found that not only was he incredibly handsome, but he had many similar interests as her as well. On February 7th, 2017, she then proceeded to, "slide in his DMs" as the kids say. She struck up a conversation and shortly later they were facetiming and talking about everything under the sun until the early hours of the morning. It wasn't long until Jeremy asked Em what her favorite food was, and finally asked her on a date. They still joke about the fact that Em canceled their first date not once, not twice, but THREE times before finally agreeing to adventure off to Santa Cruz for their first date (and the first time they met!). And the rest, they say, is history.

Dressed up for what was supposed to be a nice dinner at her Nana and Papa's house, Emylee had some clues that something special was in store for her. When her mom asked her to come outside to "come help Jeremy", she didn't think much of it. When she walked out the back door of her grandarents' home (where she grew up most of her life), she saw rose petals and candles leading to the man of her dreams down on one knee. Seeing Jeremy emotional made her emotional, and she immediately ran to hug him. After they embraced for a moment of time, Emylee finally said, "I think you were going to ask me something?", to which they both laughed. She knew his question, and he knew her answer.
