Directions to the Powel Garden Chapel

Answer

Turn into the Powell Garden entrance off of 50 Highway. Follow the entrance drive to the intersection just before our main gates and turn right at the intersection onto 650th Road. Take your first left onto the road before the turn. This is the Powell Gardens administrative entrance. Just before the fork in the road, you will see a large Boy Scout sign. Take a right at the fork. You will be driving away from the lake. Follow the road until you reach the Chapel parking lot. The Chapel parking lot is at the end of the road you are on, so you will not be able to drive any further when you reach it.

What is the dress code?

Garden Party! Fun florals, breezy sun dresses, and colorful ties! We will be at a gorgeous botanical garden and would like to embrace (and match) the natural beauty!

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes, but it is a limited selection. Please remember the nearest hotel, whether in Warrensburg or Lee's Summit, is about 30 minutes away. Uber and Lyft typical are not available in this area. Please have a designated driver if you plan on thoroughly enjoying our wedding! Just remember photos will be taken and will be gladly shared at any future family functions!!

What if I have food restrictions or dieitary requests?

When you RSVP, please include your request. If you have further questions or concerns please reach out to Emy or Eric (612.394.5605). We will gladly provide (with prior notice!!) a gluten-free and vegan option.
