We're getting married!

We met in our high school physics class. Emily decided that she thought Tyler was cute so she said she needed help on her homework (she didn't). They met at Starbucks and talked for hours (Emily did most of the talking). Tyler invited Emily to Buffalo Wild Wings and asked her to her first prom (yes!). We consider Buffalo Wild Wings our first date (yum!). On April 19, 2014 they went on a hike to Bear's Den where Tyler asked Emily to (officially) be his girlfriend (yes!) with a bouquet of flowers. They celebrated their one-year anniversary on their second prom night. Tyler left for Liberty University when Emily was a senior and Emily ended up at Virginia Tech a year later. We were long distance for a total of 6 (SIX!!!) years. How did we do it? Not sure! Lots of phone calls and texts (mostly from Emily). They (finally) moved into their first apartment together and then rescued a wonderful (crazy) COVID puppy named Mazley Mae! She made us into the family of three that we are today. After 10 years of choosing to love each other every day, Tyler decided that it was time to ask Emily to (officially) be his partner and wife for ever and ever and ever (and she said yes!).
