"I’m not even sure where to start—me and Will had more close calls than I can count, and somehow always came out with a story. I can’t think back on my younger days without Will popping up somewhere. One of my favorite memories has to be the time we “fixed” his boat motor. We got to the ramp and it wouldn’t start, so I used my drill on the flywheel like that was a totally reasonable solution. It worked… briefly. Then the nut fell straight into the water. Long story short, we still took the boat out, and eventually the flywheel literally flew off, leaving us stranded. Absolutely ridiculous—and somehow one of the best days."

"Sophomore year of high school, I was hanging out in my basement when a friend got a call from a freshman inviting us to sneak out and go to a party. We piled into the car—and that’s when I realized the driver was none other than Faith." We ended up at some random guy’s house, and somehow Faith and I found ourselves squeezed into a tiny closet, hiding from the parents. The night ended with me having a concussion, Faith driving everyone home, and chaos. From that ridiculous, unforgettable night on, we have been attached at the hip -- proof that some of the best friendships start in the most unexpected moments.

"Will and I were involved in Ducks Unlimited together all through out college. We were both on the executive board for the last year of college, and it led to some of our best memories. We drove through the night to go hunting in Arkansas, and I don't think I have ever been more sleep deprived in my life."

"My favorite memory that showed me Faith’s true character was during my freshman year of college, when I came down with the flu and was completely wiped out. I’m a total baby when I’m sick, but Faith showed up without hesitation with medicine and soup, making sure I was taken care of. When my fever stayed high, she spent hours with me at urgent care just to be sure I saw a doctor. I still think about how she swooped in during one of my most vulnerable moments and became my college “older sister”—a role she stepped into purely out of love."
