If you're looking to take home a cozy souvenir from my hometown, come to The Woolen Mills! The Faribault Woolen Mill endures as one of the last vertical woolen mills in America. Here, fifth generation craftspeople take raw wool and create blankets, throws, scarves and accessories of remarkable comfort and quality. Irreplaceable century-old machinery stands side by side with modern technology in our "new" mill, which was built in 1892.
The site of our ceremony is also a world-renown, coeducational Episcopal-affiliated boarding school. It was first established in 1858 as an Episcopal mission school and seminary. It is full of old-world charm with beautiful buildings and grounds to walk through.
Caves of Faribault is the only U.S. cheese maker still curing and aging blue cheese exclusively in caves! The caves amass nearly an acre's-worth of land within a sandstone bluff. Over time, sections have been carved to form a network of twelve caves!
Faribaults own small craft brewery is right next door from 10,000 Drops and has a cute little patio to enjoy your beer on!
