Well, we already got married, so technically no. But we wanted to celebrate with all of you in paradise. Think of this more as an extended reception inspired and led by the spirit of the Island of Puerto Rico and all the beauty its Boricua-ness has to offer.
See schedule for suggestions. On Saturday we will be spending a half day-ish at a public beach--so wear whatever you feel fabulous in the sand with. Don't forget to pack plenty o' gear for playing, swimming, and lounging all weekend, too.
The greatest gift you can give us is to come celebrate our new familia in Puerto Rico, and refrain from asking dumb questions / peppering us with typical weeding-guest needs while you're there. If you cannot make it and insist on sending us a gift, we cannot think of much else we regularly need other than huge supplies of Bubly water and Zebra cakes. If you cannot support our carbonation and sugar needs, then consider supporting The Salt Cure Recovery Fund (https://thesaltcurefund.org/) or the Advocate for Human Rights (https://www.theadvocatesforhumanrights.org/Home), because Minnesota needs your gift funds more than we do right now.
You're a grown ass adult, so yes, please get yourself to PR and try not to act like a baby while you're there (unless you are a baby, then please let us hold you). For real, we will be covering the tab for Saturday shenanigans on the beach and your transport to get there. For all other tabs Chris or Esther opens up, you can just Venmo us back whenever works for you @Esther-M-Soria (we're just relying on people to track/pay back on their own for any miscellaneous costs accrued -- again, the theme of the weekend is as little "work" as possible).
