Guests should plan to arrive at 4:30, and the ceremony will begin shortly after

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

The Ruins is located at 13 Railroad Street, Hood River, OR 97031. To get to Railroad street you will enter off of the corner of Cascade Ave and 1st Street. You will see a sign that says "Mt Hood Railroad" over the entrance. The venue will be at the end of Railroad Street!

Where can I park?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available in the lot surrounding the venue. You can disregard the signs that say "Mt Hood Railroad Parking Only", as those have been rented by the venue for the wedding.

What should I wear?

Answer

The wedding will be semi-formal. We recommend bringing a light jacket for the evening. The venue is mostly gravel, so keep that in mind for those thinking of wearing heels or sandals!

Are food and drinks provided?

Answer

Yes! There will be appetizers, a buffet style dinner, and desserts. There will be an open bar serving beer, wine, and cider, as well as non-alcoholic beverages.

What is the weather like? Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

While we hope for a nice, warm sunny day, there is always a chance of rain and wind in Hood River! It may also get a bit chilly in the evening after the sun goes down, so we recommend bringing a jacket and checking the weather ahead of time. The venue has both indoor and outdoor areas, so in the case of rain we will be able to move indoors.
