We first met in Mr. Geiter's Introduction to Engineering class at The Prosper High School. Mr. Geiter had a seating chart for his class where Emmy and Liam were placed next to each other. Every morning, Emmy would ask how his day was going to get to know him better. Liam then sadly transferred out of this class, as he had already taken the credit. After he transferred classes, Emmy would wave to him from the hallway. After this, they met again. Emmy joined the Solar Car team because Mr. Geiter introduced her to it. The next year, Mr. Geiter requested that Liam join. Liam was again placed with Emmy, this time working on the frame team with Emmy as team lead. After the frame was designed, Liam proceeded to leave her team and start design and fabrication for the four-person solar car, stealing both Emmy and her heart. On the 11th of November 2022, Liam invited her to a football game, but he was too nervous to offer her his jacket, even when she complained about the cold. One week from then, they went on an official date to Whataburger. About two years later, Liam proposed.
